Hello!

My name is Jained Pernia, a surface designer living in The Woodlands, Texas.

My story started a few years ago when I learned about surface pattern design, after moving to a new country and having my second child. With a bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages, a master’s degree in teaching and learning foreign languages, and more than six years of experience in the education field, I reinvented myself and decided to follow my passion for art and design.

My inspiration comes from nature and the world around us. I enjoy exploring with different media, while creating new artwork to decorate our surroundings.
